Matah’s vast knowledge is attributed to his key roles in various business ventures both domestically and internationally. He is proficient in navigating constructability reviews, providing design or value engineering options, and developing risk mitigation or contingency plans, should it be required. His strengths lie in simplifying and streamlining process and procedures to drive down costs, improve efficiency and increase bottom line profitability. He utilizes a vast background and professional skillset to contribute to the ongoing success of any organization.
As the President of Maso Construction Inc., his most recent projects include Soul Tavern Restaurant (Miami Beach Florida); Wolfsonian Museum (Miami Beach Florida); 3 Island Condominiums (Miami Beach Florida); Tarpon Bend (Coral Gables Florida).
Matah has also been working collaboratively with Marino Construction Group in Key West Florida as the Director of Construction and has completed various projects including Wahlburgers Restaurant (Key West Florida); Sunset Key Condominiums (Key West Florida); Alonzo’s Oyster Bar and Restaurant (Key West Florida); Marty’s Place (Key West Florida); Hampton Inn (Key West, FL); The Quarry Condominiums (Key West Florida).
Matah believes strongly in core principles of faith and hence has dedicated his time to be the Board President for CDM Community Church. He also believes strongly in giving back to the community and has taken an active role in various outreach programs to include Farmshare distribution, Homeless Outreach and Habitat for Humanity.
When Matah is not working, he is enjoying time with his family. He is a devoted husband and father of three wonderful children. His two youngest children Bella Marie Persaud (age 1) and Ian Alexander Persaud (age 4) most certainly keep him busy and in tune with life’s most simple and meaningful pleasures.
